Home redesign at Bhumi Interior Studios is a complete rethinking of an existing home: layout, flow, storage, light, and finish, reworked room by room without you moving house. The studio works across Hadapsar and east Pune, and takes a redesign end to end, from the first walkthrough through drawings, material selection, and site supervision to the finished room.
Most homes do not need more space. They need the space they have to be arranged around how the people in them actually live. A redesign starts with a walkthrough, in your home, at the hour you use each room most. We watch where light lands, where storage has overflowed, and where you have quietly stopped going.
From there we draw. Layouts first, because moving a wall or a doorway is cheaper on paper than anywhere else. Then storage, then surfaces, then light. Each decision is made against the last, so the finished rooms read as one house rather than five separately decorated ones.
We supervise the work on site. Drawings are a set of intentions, and the gap between an intention and a finished joint is where a house is won or lost.

Questions about home redesign
- Do I need to move out during a home redesign?
- Not always. Where the work is confined to specific rooms we phase it so the rest of the house stays livable. A full redesign that touches plumbing, electrical, and flooring across every room is usually faster and cleaner with the house empty. We tell you which one your project is at the walkthrough, before you commit.
- Can you redesign a single room rather than the whole home?
- Yes. Single-room redesigns are common, most often a living room, a primary bedroom, or a kitchen. We still ask to see the whole house, because a room that ignores its neighbours reads as an add-on.
